Parish History |

Venappara is a charming little village 38 kilometers
to the northeast of Kozhikode. It is often described
as the gateway to the settlement areas in Malabar.
It measures about 1050 acres of land with eighteen
hills, coming under Koodathayi and Neeleswaram
villages. There had been sporadic migrations from
Central Travancore to Malabar right from 1926, it
became intensified in 1940s. They all came in search
