Church History |

A new chapter was added to the history of
Thalakkottukara on 20 October 1920. It was on that
day that the Catholic Church was established there
at Thalakkottukara, a town about 20 kilometers to
the North West of Thrissur. Before that the people
had to go to the churches at Velur or Eranelloor for
their spiritual needs....... |

Important Milestones |
1917 - The church got the land donated. The order
for the construction of the church was received from
the Thrissur diocese.
20.10.1920 - The church was consecrated.
November 1937 - First permanent vicar for the
