Mukkoottuthara St. Thomas parish church is situated at a distance of 100mts from Mukkoottuthara town on a small hill. The church, is situated beside the famous Erumely Sabarimala High way. It is about 5kms away towards the east from Erumely town.............

Church History

About the 25 years ago the St. Thomas Christian’s of this area used to meet their spiritual need in Manipuzha or Kollamula parishes. Manipuzha parish is about 2kms toward west and Kollamula parish is about 2kms toward east from this area. As these churches are near people ..........

July 3rd	The feast of the Patron Saint is celebrated every year.
January	The main feast of the parish is celebrated in the third week of January every year
April	The anniversary of all organizations, prayer groups and Sunday school are celebrated together in the month April every year
Good Friday	Way of the Cross to Noorokkadu “Kurisumala” is conducted every year on Good Friday in collaboration with Manipuzha Parish.
