About the Parish |
Mookkannur is village parish five kilometers (road
distance) away from Angamaly junction. The parish
lays three kilometers away from the NH 47 by the
Karayamparmbu – Ezhattumugham Road.

Church History |
|
The Parish of Mookkannur was established in 1883 as
the filial parish of Angamaly with the decree of His
Excellency Dr. Marcellinos, the Bishop of Varapuzha.
The foundation of the church was first erected in
the property at Bhraraniparmbu. Later considering
better public convenience the site of the church was
moved, half a mile eastwards to the property ....... |
